1. on top, up, above, aloft
   putim antap long tebol = to put it on top of the table
   antap tru = very high up
   lukluk (i go) antap = to look upwards
   stap antap long = to be on top of, to be above
   balus i go stap antap = the plane takes off; goes up into the air
   balus i go antap = the plane takes off, goes up in the air
   tru antap! = so help me God! (an oath)
   (mekim) tru antap = to take an oath, to swear, to make a vow

2. the top, the surface
   antap bilong wara = the surface of the water
   antap bilong haus = the top of a house, the roof
   ples (bilong) antap = heaven

3. to be high, superior, subtle
   maunten i antap tumas = a very high mountain
   me antap long yu = I am superior to you
   nek bilong em i antap = his voice is very high pitched
   em oltaim i skulim mipela antap tumas = his instructions are always too deep
