singelman
Tok Pisin: singel + man.
There is a possibility for confusion here. Mihalic has skelman and senkelboi, both meaning an unmarried, unemployed young man who lives on the providence of others. He sought the etymologies skelman = skel + man and Schenken (German: gift) + man
Mühlhäusler (1979:201) finds Mihalic derivation of senkelboifrom German Schenken, gift, extremely dubious.
single + man.
