Tok Pisin: as + bin.

According to Sillitoe (1983:94-95) Psophocarpus tetragonolobus orignated in tropical Asia prior to European contact. It has a bean pods growing on a vine and an edible tuberous root; it is soemtimes found in rural markets. See also Powell (1976: 116-117), Twohig (1986: 73), May (1984: 50).
