apim

English: ‘up’.

Mihalic gives this as a shortened form of litimapim or liptimapim. But hardly anyone uses these outside church (liptimapim nem, ‘to exalt’) nowadays and apim has become the more usual form.

See first Mihalic entry. See second Mihalic entry ® antap, liptimapim.
